Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home

SGH Architects serves as the Architect of Record for this new funeral home located in Fresno, California. As a site-adapted project, its design was modified to reflect a California Mediterranean-style building with features complimenting the existing adjacent commercial developments and residential neighborhoods.

Interior features of this 9,800 square foot project include a chapel that seats 250 people, arrangement offices, hospitality room, administration spaces, and public waiting areas.

The creative use of landscaping meets the strict requirements of California’s water conservation requirements. The project is tentatively scheduled for completion in October 2020.
